Just Like The Sunsets

 

         See the sunset above? Fascinating, isn't it? What's more impressive is that I only took the photo using a mobile phone. Take note that I don't even need to edit the image. It is an art itself! Take a look at those brightly colored puffy clouds in the sky. It looks like a painting created by someone who has divine hands. Such a masterpiece! Often, the clouds reflect the red and orange hues of the setting sun, but sometimes it can also be pink with a hint of purple. It's constantly changing, yet it's still mesmerizing!  The moment you set your eyes on it, you'll feel as if your troubles will all vanish. It is very pleasing to the eyes and radiates an overwhelming feeling. It's funny how sunsets are always there, but we only notice them for a short period. We've been so preoccupied with our own lives, perhaps scrolling through our phones all-day or busy with school/job and stressing ourselves out about various issues, that we've forgotten that there's a free therapy out there. Don't forget that it isn't wrong to take a rest. Sometimes you gotta need to take a break, breathe and gaze at these spectacular sunsets.

        Now that I think about it, Isn't life similar to sunsets? There are times that the sunset won't be bright as it should be because of the rain or thunderstorm. Not everything will go as planned, just as it does in our lives. As a teen, I've realized that as we embark on our journey, there will always be obstacles in life, just like the rain.

            Let's face it, life won't always be colorful, but is that an enough reason to give up? At the end of the day, if we only work hard and persevere, we will achieve all of our aspirations, and all of these will come true. Our lives will soon be as vibrant, just like the sunsets.
