Below are some of the korean dramas that got me totally hooked! These are available on Viu, Netflix, Iflix, iQIYI, and other streaming services. In no particular order, these are some of the best k-dramas that you could ever wish for! Enjoy watching!


  VINCENZO

    Genre: Dark Comedy

           The plot revolves around an adopted Korean boy (Vincenzo) who turns into an Italian Mafia Lawyer and returns to his homeland after several years. He wants to get his gold stored at the Geumga Plaza, but he ended up in a law case against Babel Group in the process. Will justice triumph with the aid of his Mafia-style schemes?


The Uncanny Counter

Genre: Fantasy

         If you like fantasy characters, then this drama is just right for you! This Korean drama follows a group of demon hunters known as "Counter" who have dealt with tragic events in the past. They disguise themselves as noodle restaurant workers. They each have unique and special abilities which they will use to summon evil spirits. Will their mission be a success?

                            Have you distinguished and reflect on the goals you want to achieve in life? If yes, then this Korean drama is right up your alley! Start-up is a series about people who work in the entrepreneurial world and want to turn their dreams into reality. Seo Dalmi, who had been through a family breakup, received letters from a young man named Nam Do-san. She had no idea that the name "Do-san" was just randomly got from a newspaper. The written letters she received were from her grandmother and Han Ji-Pyeong (a boy who had nowhere to go and was offered a place to stay by Dalmi's grandmother). The grandmother just wants to cheer up Dalmi from sadness through those letters, but she didn't expect Dalmi to still remember Dosan as she grows older. With the sudden turn of events, Seo Dalmi meets the actual Nam Do-san in the newspaper. What will happen to them? Find it out and watch now!

18 Again

                     At a particular point in time, do you wish to go back to the past? If so, then you can fully relate to this k-drama! Hong Dae-Young, a 37-year-old who is on the verge of getting a divorce from his wife Da-Jung, is the lead character in the drama. They have their 18 years old twins, but the twins began to ignore him.  Dae-young wishes to go back in time and make amends for his mistakes. His 37-year-old body miraculously turns into his 18-year-old body, but his 37-year-old mentality remains.


True Beauty

Genre: Romance, Comedy, Slice of Life

Release Year: 2020-2021 

           Do you have any insecurities? If your answer is yes, this Korean drama will help you overcome those and encourage you to accept your flaws. Don't forget to love yourself! The story starts with Lim Jugyeong, who is self-conscious about her appearance. She has been discriminated by her family and mocked by her peers for being unattractive. However, after putting on makeup, she transforms into a beautiful and popular girl. Back then, he ran into Lee Su-ho a couple of times with her bare face. Unfortunately, Su-ho turns out to be his classmate. With Suho knowing her secret, will this be a bad thing for her, or will Suho help Jugyeong discover her true beauty


Extraordinary You

                  Have you ever considered altering your fate? Well, this Korean drama deals with a similar topic! The series follows high school girl Eun Dan-oh who discovers that she lives in a world of comics. She realized that everybody she has met is fictional characters. She knows that her comic character is a sick girl who is about to die and has a long-time crush who dislikes her. She attempted to break away from the writer's grasp and change her character. In the process, she falls in love with an unnamed character. Little did she know that changing her destiny could have unexpected consequences.



Crash Landing on You

Genre: Romantic Drama, Comedy

              Yoon Se-ri is an heiress of Queen's Group in South Korea. However, her step-brothers and stepmother despised her. That's why she decided to leave her family and establish a business of her own. She became successful with her fashion and beauty company. One day, her father wants her to take over their family business as Se-ri got unmatched skills more than her step-brothers. Unfortunately, just right before announcing her take over to Queen's group, she was caught up in a tornado as she paraglides to test out their new sportswear. The tornado takes her through the Korean Demilitarized Zone and North Korea, where she meets Captain Ri Jeong-hyeok for the first time. What unexpected turn of events will happen to her in North Korea?

            Do you believe that some misfortunes in our life turned out as a blessing in disguise? Watch these Korean drama series and prepare to think that such things exist. Kang Dong-Joo and Yoon Seo-Jung have experienced unfortunate events in their past. This has led them to this hospital, where they encounter Master Kim, an unusual doctor. He was a famous surgeon and known for being the triple-board certified surgeon. He mysteriously vanished, and no one knew why. He now spends his days at Dol Dam Hospital, a small, run-down facility.
